Filtermedia: Antistatic Filter Elements

During processing, treatment and handling of powder and dustlike products, electrostatic charging often occurs. Without appropriate counteractions, sources of ignition can be generated inside the filter system. To avoid fire or explosion danger, especially for fine dusts with greater surface areas which tend to built explosive composites, collector and filter bags must not allow static charging or provide grounding. MikroPul supplies for this purpose antistatic filter media with suitable shunt resistances.
